Voodoo Festival Rebrand

The Voodoo Music & Arts Festival is a multi-day music and arts event held in New Orleans, Louisiana, during Halloween weekend. For this rebrand, I drew inspiration from the wide variety of genres and the festival's spirit, incorporating Día de los Muertos–inspired illustration patterns, tarot card–style artist promotions, and spooky poster designs. The outcome captured the festival’s diverse personality while hinting at the fun, immersive atmosphere that defines the Voodoo experience.

My Role

I developed a cohesive visual system for the festival’s rebrand across multiple touchpoints, including the website, mobile app, and social media. For the mobile app, I designed a swipe-based interface that lets users browse tarot card–style concert tiles, easily view show details, and get directions to stages. On social media, I created custom hand-drawn tarot card illustrations for each artist and used Instagram’s grid layout to make the lineup feel personal and engaging. Across all platforms, I rooted the visuals in New Orleans’ Halloween weekend energy, delivering an experience that was both consistent with the brand and memorable.
