WORT is a non-commercial, listener-sponsored, member-controlled community radio station in Madison, WI, and a longstanding cultural landmark in the city. Known for broadcasting the voices, stories, and music the community wants to hear, WORT plays a vital role in connecting people. I created this short video to highlight Madison’s importance to WORT, developing the concept, storyboard, and visual direction to align with the station’s mission. Using playful, community-driven themes and local imagery, I tied WORT’s identity to the city’s spirit, from scripting through final edits, creating a warm, authentic piece that reflected the station’s personality and deep connection to Madison.
